Remedial or sports massage can be effective for anyone suffering from injuries or muscular problems and related pain, not just sports people.

Using advanced massage techniques the cause of muscular pain is addressed, not just the symptoms, with long lasting results.

Deep-tissue massage is aimed at relieving chronic pain and involves a more intense application of strokes and a high level of expertise.

In addition, massage can:

- improve circulation and blood flow

- help release muscle spasms and knotted tissue, tension and discomfort

- reduce scar tissue, which can be the cause of pain, and facilitate healing

- reduce headaches, neck, shoulder and back pain caused by a build-up of muscular tension,

e.g. poor posture, long hours at the keyboard, driving

- increase ease and freedom of movement by loosening tight muscles and freeing up stiff joints

Helping to release mental and physical stress with gentle exercise and/or massage will:

- increase energy levels

- aid relaxation        - promote better sleep

- have a positive effect on anxiety and stress

- help the body to feel warmer, soothe aches and pains

This will make you feel healthier, more stimulated and alert with a heightened sense of well-being.
